JG Digital at WordCamp UK 2014

This year will be the 7th outing of the ‘unconference’ conference. Lucky for us Bournemouth has been selected as the venue for this summer’s WordCamp UK 2014.

Bournemouth University’s Executive Business Centre on 12-13 July 2014 will be buzzing with anyone and everyone to do with WordPress. With nearly 20% of the web running on WordPress (JG Digital included) it is a hugely important platform used by plenty of local digital designers, developers and authors.

According to WPUK, the site where the conference is planned, the number of votes were a very close call this year, with  31 votes for Bournemouth and 30 for Birmingham. So rather than popping just down the motorway we could have been going to Birmingham instead (not that there is anything wrong with Birmingham of course, Bournemouth is just closer!).

With only 3 weeks left tickets are going quickly, so best to get tickets ordered and sorted out very soon.
